Aluminium is more expensive than uPVC, but you get significantly slimmer sightlines, larger glass panels and the widest range of colours. For modern homes and statement openings, the upgrade is well worth it.
Yes — dual-finish aluminium doors are one of the most popular options. Many customers match the exterior to the rest of the house and pick a softer interior colour to suit the décor.
No — aluminium is naturally corrosion-resistant, which is one of its biggest advantages over steel. The powder-coated finish protects the surface for decades, even in coastal locations.
Very — aluminium is inherently strong and stiff, and we fit multi-point locking, anti-snap cylinders and reinforced shoot bolts as standard. All doors are PAS 24 security tested.
